'Every athlete will walk away with a smile'
Football played a significant role in shaping who I am today, not only physically but also mentally, throughout my childhood. It has taught me so much about the type of person I am today. Experiencing a major injury in football, which prolonged my interaction on the field, drove me into coaching, which allowed me to express myself and continue my passion for football.

1921 Coaches
Welcome to The Team of 1921. What our coaches have to offer, provide a significant influence on athletes abilities. Our coaches deliver a highly precise route of football development for each individual. The coaches we provide can adjust their instruction to each athlete's unique understanding, allowing for a more personalised approach. The main rule we have concreated at 1921 are that athletes are more than encouraged to become leaders, fostering qualities like integrity, self-awareness, courage, respect, compassion, and resilience.

What We Do
1921 encourages athletes to progress and gain confidence in areas where they believe they need to improve. At such a young age, football players are still unsure of their primary position on the field. As a result, we implement sessions that the athlete wishes to advance on, with a focus on a variety of aspects of the game. Striking & Finishing - 1 v. 1 Attacking or Defending - First Touch & Footwork - Passing Accuracy & Pace - Speed of Play & Dribbling / Speed & Agility
Sport Psychology
Not only physical progress within football will be happening during sessions, BUT an understanding of the mental side of developing a pure athlete will be gained.
Empirical studies have largely focused on individual psychological factors and their influence on performance which includes confidence, motivation, attention & attitude, visualization, and psychosomatic skills. (Gucciardi, Gordon, & Dimmock, 2009).

WHY 1921?
1921 is here to develop the hidden talent that girls have or want to express and expand on. Since the ban was lifted in 1971, there has been a push to make females feel they are allowed to participate in football.
All 1921 wants is to create a space where female athletes can be themselves in a safe environment.
With the Lionesses winning the EUROS 2022, the growing acceptance of females in this generation has led to where we are now.
